The OLR was founded by Sándor Bacskai and Lajos Császár with the goal of enabling both beginners and professionals to concur under the same conditions. Their enthousiasm of a quality pigeon racing shows itself really well for the first World Championship happened already in the first year of the OLR!

The OLR is in Vác, in a city of great history and which is also known as the Gates of the Danube Bend. There's a Grand Prix race each year, with a season-ending festival. Breeders from everywhere around the globe come here to get to know one another.
In addition, there are great options to discover the sights of Vác and the Danube Bend. Thanks to the hospitality, we can wait for our pigeons in a familiar and comfortable atmosphere.

The Final Race is going to take place in the September of 2026. We await everyone eagerly. The event is free for everyone.

This day isn't about the profits. We await every breeder, relative or friend with food and drinks. Let this day be a big fest where everyone has an awesome time!
The area stays open for schoolchildren and kindergarteners as well. Under parental supervision, the kids can spend their day from 8 in the morning until the night. There are great options to make wanderings on the Naszály hill, where one meets an exquisite panorama on the Danube and the city itself. The cauldrons and furnaces are of course open to be used to all.
We only request that you pay attention to every gear and to bring everything back to its original place. There are bathrooms as well, where one can even take a shower. There are in addition great dwellings in the area. This place offers an outstanding neighborhood and a great panorama.
